Nordic Walking

nordic walking What is Nordic Walking?
It is an athletic form of walking using special poles not just for support but also for exercise. This means that the muscles of the upper body and abdominals are also involved, increasing your stamina training and energy consumption. It is an appropriate sport even for less fit individuals and can be practised in all seasons.

nordic walkingWhat is the Nordic Walking Park?
It is a network of short circuits that can be combined together, suitable for those who want to start walking with poles, marked with detailed signs showing distances and difficulties. The circuits allow you to visit the most interesting parts of Vena del Gesso, including history, geology, and wonderful panoramas of Brisighella. The use of the walking poles and the type of terrain encourages progressively longer training cycles, improving both coordination and physical stamina. Each circuit starts and finishes at a car park where you can leave your car. Free Nordic Walking poles at the Brisighella Tourist Information Office and Ca’ Carnè Visitor Centre
